Ninety-percent of adults age 65 and older say they want to stay in their homes for as long as possible. M4A provides the level of support and services older adults and people of all ages with a disability need to remain in their communities but we need your help.
Your monetary donation will make a big difference and help M4A support individuals in Blount, Chilton, Shelby, St. Clair, and Walker counties. Donations can be made on a one-time basis, monthly, or annually.
M4A is proud to introduce its 2017 Senior Meal Challenge campaign to seek donations to help over 800 seniors get nutritious meal delivered to their home. These seniors have been on our waiting list and are homebound and have a limited income. They have to make tough decisions each month to purchase food, pay their utilities, or get their medicine.
Alabama is one of the top 10 states in the nation with the highest rates of food insecurities for seniors. M4A’s Elderly Nutrition Program helps to tackle this problem but we cannot do it alone. There are still over 800 seniors on our waiting list as follows:
BLOUNT COUNTY: 97
CHILTON COUNTY: 148
ST. CLAIR COUNTY: 304
WALKER COUNTY: 281
Take the Senior Meal Challenge and give a donation today.
- A donation of $25 can provide meals for a week for a senior in need.
- A donation of $100 can provide meals for a month for a senior in need.
- A donation of $600 can provide meals for six months for a senior in need.
- A donation of $1,200 can provide meals for an entire year for a senior in need.
- A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated.
