Ms. Amy Burgess currently serves as the County Extension Coordinator for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Auburn University’s Blount County office. A native of Blount County, Mrs. Burgess holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science from Auburn University and a Master of Science in Continuing Education, specializing in Counseling from the University of West Alabama. She is also an alumnus of Susan Moore High School. Go Bulldogs! Ms. Burgess has worked for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System for twenty-two years where she has served as an agent assistant and regional extension agent before accepting her current position. Her chosen field of work has been in the area of 4-H and Youth Development and Agriculture for the duration of her career.
