The PANDA Project (Providing Alzheimer’s N’ Dementia Assistance) is an initiative administered by the Middle Alabama Area Agency on Aging (M4A).

The PANDA Project provides supportive services for People Living with Dementia (PLWD) and their Caregivers at no cost to the consumer.

The PANDA Project is made possible through grant funding provided by the Administration for Community Living (ACL), and Alabama Department of Senior Services.

The PANDA Project utilizes a person/family-centered approach to provide supportive services and help to improve quality of life by providing:

  1. One-on One Caregiver Training
  2. Caregiver Intervention
  3. Home Modifications
  4. Supplemental Supplies
  5. Training &Education
  6. Self-Care Counseling

Panda Offers a variety of education and Training such as:

  • Caregiver Intervention Education
  • Community Dementia Education
  • Brain Health Education
  • Elder Justice Advocacy Training
  • First Responder “Dementia Friendly” Training
