Ms. Senta W. Goldman holds a MBA in General Management, Bachelor of General Studies degree in Administrative Services, and an Associate Degree of Information Systems Analysis. She comes to us as the Coordinator of Community Services from the Shelby County Commission. She is Responsible for the administration and management of State and Federal grants; preparing State and Federal grant financial reports and progress reports, planning, organizing, supervision and/or coordination of senior services within the county. Administer contracts with contract service providers; perform contract compliance reviews; prepare and submit reports on findings or performance activities and may assist with English and Spanish communications/interpretations. Responsible for continued development of senior initiatives and the insuring accurate referrals are made to direct providers such as M4A, cities and other governmental or community resources. Responsible for collaborating with others to create efficient operations and services as well as provide supervision to the Falcon Scholars through the University of Montevallo including graduate assistants and student assistants. Prepare federal, state, and local grant applications, ensure all special conditions of the grant are met, report progress to governing bodies; ensure that proper documents are maintained and/or provide progress to local authorities (i.e. internal audits); transmit grant request for payments to state and federal; prepares and administer local community agency grant guidelines and contract to assist local entities and communities through Commission funding; represent the County on boards or committees; assist community agencies to facilitate business for social services and community improvement.
